Maui is a truly special place. On this small island, I’ve discovered hidden gems, met incredible people, and been inspired by the creativity our local community has to offer. I’m endlessly grateful for the spaces on this island that nourish, inspire, and invite us to slow down.
Whether you’re visiting Maui for the first time or you’re a local looking for something new, I created this guide to share my favorite wellness experiences on Maui. Each one has played a part in my own journey of restoration and connection. This list is in no particular order — each spot is worth experiencing in its own way.
1. Scape Maui
Of course, I have to start with Scape, our wellness space in the heart of Paia. Scape grew from a dream shared by me and my business partner, and it came to life with the help of many talented hands. Every detail — from the color of the walls to the curation of our treatment menu — was chosen to help you feel a deep reset.
Our practitioners amaze me daily, not only because of their skill but because of the energy they bring into the spa. At Scape, you’ll find:
-
Botanical foot soaks
-
Massage treatments
-
Cold plunge & sauna contrast therapy
-
A curated boutique featuring local products
If you’re seeking an elevated spa experience in Maui, Scape is the place to unwind and reconnect.
2. Moku Roots — Brunch or Dinner
Whenever I have friends or family visiting, I take them straight to Moku Roots. This vegan, farm-to-table experience in Upcountry Maui is unforgettable. The food is mouthwatering, the setting is wholesome, and you’ll often be greeted by the friendliest farm horses. It’s the kind of place that makes you smile from the inside out — perfect for families or anyone craving a nourishing meal. (they also make amazing birthday cakes!)

3. Sunny Savage Wild Food Tour
If you want something truly unique, book a tour with Sunny Savage in Wailuku. Sunny is an incredible educator, cook, and advocate for connecting with the land. On her wild food tours, you’ll learn about edible invasive species — yes, you can eat them! — and taste the flavors of Maui in a whole new way. I highly recommend adding on the meal, as Sunny is as talented in the kitchen as she is in the field.
4. Blue Mango Yoga
With two locations (Haiku and Kahului), Blue Mango Yoga is one of my favorite studios on the island. Tiffany has built an incredible community of skilled instructors, and the classes are the perfect blend of challenge and restoration. Whether you’re here on vacation or searching for your new local yoga studio, a class at Blue Mango will leave you grounded and renewed.
5. O‘o Farm Brunch
Another Upcountry Maui gem is O‘o Farm. Their coffee farm tour is fascinating, and the brunch that follows is an experience in itself. Every detail feels intentional, from the fresh produce to the mountain views. If you’re a brunch lover like me, you’ll savor every bite and every moment here.
6. Homestead Bakery
Located in beautiful Kula, Homestead Bakery is a hidden treasure. Brittney has transformed what was once Maui Bees into a welcoming space filled with warmth and flavor. The sourdough alone is worth the trip upcountry, and the surrounding flower gardens instantly boost your mood. It’s a stop that combines delicious food with natural beauty.

7. Mint Maui
Mint Maui is Maui’s premier fitness studio offering Versaclimber and Lagree classes, with locations in both Wailea and Paia on Maui.
Closing Thoughts
Maui is filled with opportunities to pause, connect, and reset. From yoga studios and wild food tours to brunch in the mountains and wellness rituals at Scape, each of these experiences reflects the spirit of intentional living that makes this island so special.
Whether you’re planning your Maui itinerary or looking for new ways to explore your own backyard, I hope this list inspires your next adventure in wellness.
